In Cypress Hills, this 19th century wood frame is intriguing, but definitely a major project for an old house lover. While the listing doesn’t show interior photos, the details and condition of the house can be seen in a video tour. It shows the 18-foot-wide single family has mantels, picture rails, wood floors, a built-in cupboard in the kitchen, and a bathroom with wainscoting and wood floors. According to the listing, there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The historic tax photo shows the bracketed cornice and columned porch, which are still in place. In 1893, the house was advertised for rent as a two-story frame house with six rooms, a cemented cellar, gas fixtures and a large grape arbor in the yard.
