While Sasha Brunet was in disbelief at discovering at the lottery terminal that she had a winning ticket, she said her husband “believed me and was thrilled” on hearing the good news
Aurora realtor Sasha Brunet of Aurora is celebrating a “shocking” $342,257 Lotto Max second prize win in the June 2, 2023 draw.
She also won $20 on another one of her Lotto Max selections, bringing her total winnings to $342,277, according to an OLG news release.
Sasha, 48, who said she only recently started playing the lottery, was in disbelief when she validated her ticket and the lottery terminal shut down.
“It was shocking,” she recounted while at the OLG Prize Center in Toronto to pick up her winnings.
Sasha shared the big news with her husband.
“He believed me and was thrilled,” she said.
Sasha hasn’t made any major plans with her winnings just yet.
“Maybe we’ll treat ourselves to something in the future,” she smiled. “It’s exciting to win.”
The winning ticket was purchased at Longo’s on Wellington Street in Aurora.
