Burley Named Realtor Of The Year |  News, Sports, Jobs

The Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Board of Realtors has named William “Bills” Burley as 2022 Realtor of the Year at the organization’s annual installation banquet held recently.

The criteria for the award include: involvement at the local realtor board, community activity and charitable giving, and strict adherence to the Realtor Code of Ethics.

Burley serves on multiple Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Board of Realtors committees, including the public relations committee, which is tasked with spear-heading the board’s community involvement and charitable giving campaigns. Outside of the Board of Realtors, he is a past president and current member of Jamestown AM Rotary, belongs to and is an advocate for Chautauqua Leadership Network and is on the Lakewood Memorial Library board. Burley has also been involved in Habitat for Humanity and has been a mentor to local youth through Big Brokers-Big Sisters and the Chautauqua Striders Program.

Burley serves as a trustee for the village of Celoron. He also created and chairs the Celoron Community Events Committee, which plans and facilities no-cost community events for Celoron and surrounding communities.
