2022 has been a fantastic year for RWInvest and our partners, and this train of success keeps on rolling with us achieving another award at the YM Liverpool Property and Business Awards last month.
These awards celebrate the best of the property and business sectors within the Liverpool City Region, so winning one of these awards is big news for RWInvest!
The prestigious awards night on 30th November saw the leading names of the Liverpool property sector come together to celebrate their success at the Hilton Hotel in a glamorous event.
We are delighted to report that RWInvest took home the Community Award thanks to our charitable efforts throughout 2022.
This includes our work with the Inclusive Hub, an organization dedicated to helping disadvantaged children in Kirkdale through sport and exercise. We took part in a sponsored run in 2021 that raised over £6000 for the charity and committed to funding the group’s sportswear and trainers for the next 12 months.
We also donated money to community sports projects The Northern Club in Sefton and Everton in the Community to ensure children and young adults have access to local facilities and exercise.
As an incentive for our investment opportunity ELEMENT – The Quarter, we began working with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization dedicated to planting trees worldwide.
For every apartment purchased in the ELEMENT, 100 trees were planted in the Amazon Rainforest. Our goal of planting over 45,000 trees (which we exceeded by planting 49,900 trees!) helps support and rebuild one of the world’s largest ecosystems, having a huge impact on the environment as a result.
Other charitable work done by RWInvest has included donating the cost of 1000 packed lunches to help feed struggling Merseyside families over the half-term break in 2020. We helped to feed over 100 families during the Christmas period thanks to our partnership with Dave Critchley as part of his ‘Mission Christmas’ event.
This recognition for our charitable efforts is a fantastic reflection of the hard work our team puts in throughout the year to ensure RWInvest puts back into the local community via various charitable methods.
Our partners at Legacie, Caro and Nexus Developments also achieved success on the night.
For their development Poet’s Place, Caro won the Best Small New Home Development award. Legacie’s Embankment Exchange won the Best Large New Home Development award – both developments being sold in partnership with RWInvest.
Legacie also won the prestigious Property Developer of the Year award, a high honor for a company that works closely with RWInvest on its developments.
Finally, Nexus Developments were awarded the Emerging Developer of the Year award, an exciting way to celebrate a fantastic 2022.
All these awards and success are a great way to end 2022 and add to the awards we have already won this year such as Best Property Agency in Merseyside at the International Property Awards.
This recognition from major award panels adds to the long list of successes that RWInvest has achieved, and puts us in good stead coming into a new year.
