Find Some Artful Inspiration at the Brooklyn Quilters Guild Show

Gaze upon hundreds of carefully crafted quilts by members of the Brooklyn Quilters Guild at a show that also marks the organization’s 30th anniversary.

The organization normally hosts a biennial show but paused during the pandemic, making this also the first show for the guild in five years. In addition to the quilts to admire over the two-day show, there will be vendors on hand with fabrics and notions for sales, workshops, raffles, and a silent auction. Quilter Sylvia Hernandez will be sharing her work in social justice quilt making as a featured speaker on Sunday, April 30.

The show is open on Saturday, April 29 from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday, March 30 from 10 am to 4 pm at BKLOFT26 at 163 26th Street. Daily admission is $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Admission is free for children 12 and under. For more information, including a full list of the workshops, details on the featured talks, and to purchase tickets, visit the event page online.
