The right buyer will need to have the vision and energy for a complete renovation and have an income that fits the requirements for this Clinton Hill walk-up apartment. The windowed kitchen, which has a few original cabinets, is tucked behind the bedroom and near the dining room.
The listing photos make it clear that there is work to be done. There is a drop ceiling in the living room, some tile floor issues in the kitchen and wood floors that could use some TLC. There isn’t a view of the bathroom floor, but the wall tiles that are visible look good in shape and could be spruced up with some new grout. Other work would likely include upgrading the electricity, patching or skim coating the plaster and a refrigerator for the kitchen.
There’s no mention of laundry in the building and while previous listings for other units have indicated in-unit washers/dryers are allowed it isn’t mentioned for this unit. The building has a super live-in. Maintenance for the apartment is $525 a month.
Located in the Clinton Hill Historic District, the building is not far from the C train at the Clinton-Washington stop and in a desirable part of the neighborhood.
